I Do Wedding is a family owned and ran business.
Several of the staff have been married in recent years
and been through the process of arranging a wedding.
Experiences of this have been fed into the business to provide
a better service to new couples who are arranging a wedding.
I
Do Wedding was started in 2006. It was setup by Rachel Reed
who left employment to start her own business taking her
passion of being creative into the market place. The company
started providing handmade stationery and was run from home.
The following year it expanded into the wedding favours market
as demand from clients required.
Quickly
as demand became higher the business moved into commercial
premises in Bangor. The business then expanded into the venue
dressing side of Weddings, investing heavily into the chair
covers, table decorations and sparkle curtains side of the
business, offering high quality products at what we felt were
more reasonable prices than some companies on the market were
offering.
Having
out grown multiple premises the company is now based in retail
units in North Down Business park in Bangor. These provide
pleasant surroundings for staff and for clients to visit us
for free consultations.
We
have had clients from all over the UK and Ireland and we
provide services all over Northern Ireland. We have continued
to grow year on year and are proud to be recognised as
providing an excellent service by achieving runner up in
Business Excellence in 2010 Business awards and also as runner
up as voted by Readers for providing quality wedding
stationery.
2011
has seen us receive a runners up award for Best Creative
Industries and Rachel was runner up in Young Entrepreneur 2011
award category.
We
believe in putting a package together containing the items you
want and not what the company wants you to take.
We
are a member of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and
are VAT registered. |
